This week, we take a look at one of our predefined PF Scan accessible to all our Pro users, the US 30.

You can review constituent’s metrics in the PF Scan table but also benefit from a visual representation of the constituents on a wealth creation basis (return on capital divided by cost of capital)(Y axis) and on a future growth value basis (X axis). The index is represented by the symbol “PF” (yellow triangle) and is a weighted average of its constituents.
As of Monday’s close, the US 30 portfolio (see PF in the graphic of the attachment) trades at a premium to its constituents’ future growth value. Six wealth creators trade at a discount (MRK, PFE, IBM, TRV, T & VZ) and four companies (CAT, GE, GS, JPM) trade at a premium but were unable to reach a profitability level higher than their cost of capital in the last 12 months.
