Release Notes 2024.09.12

In this update, we added functionally requested by many as well as addressing bugs to ensure smoother navigation and functionality within our platform. These changes apply mostly to the institutional licenses, but also to the pro licence.

Exceptionally, We’re planning an additional release focused on pooled strategies in about a week. Stay tuned!

Enhancements

  1. Autopilot: We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Autopilot feature, now available under the new “Strategies” tab in the portfolio module! This tool allows users to rebalance their portfolios based on a selected strategy, ensuring they stay on track with their investment strategy. The Autopilot’s behavior mirrors that of our backtest, meaning that all settings from the backtest setup—like sector restrictions, number of holdings, and trim boundaries—are considered by the Autopilot. More exciting features are expected in the next releases regarding the autopilot.
  2. Portfolio Importer: Users can now import a portfolio while creating a new one! This initial phase supports importing a portfolio holdings snapshot. In future updates, we plan to expand this feature to allow users to create a portfolio using historical transactions.
  3. Display variable used within strategies for specific stocks: With a Pro or Institutional license, you can search for a stock, head to the strategies section, and see exactly why it has its current ranking in a model.

Bug Fixes

  1. Pooled strategy trim boundary setting: The interface would not save the user selection regarding the trim boundary.
  2. Performance breakdown: The first value of the quarterly and annual performance breakdown would return -100% instead of N/A.
  3. Sell list labels: in the sell list, mathematical symbols were matching the buy rule meaning that a sell criterion of “<15” would be displayed as “>=15” in the sell list. This error was purely cosmetic and was not affecting results from the sell list.

Final Words

We appreciate your ongoing support and encourage you to explore the enhanced features and improvements in this latest version. As always, we value your feedback, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any suggestions or concerns.
