Vector Group Ltd (VGR) was delisted on October 7 due to a tender offer at $15. Since the majority of shareholders tendered their shares, the merger was approved on October 7, 2024. VGR became a wholly owned subsidiary of the JT Group and was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.
Consequently, to maintain market exposure, we are replacing VGR with another Consumer Staples stock. The trade is effective at the market close on October 11, 2024.
