The 5-year quarterly beta (20 observations)\u00a0have been\u00a0replaced by\u00a0a weekly 2-year beta. (104 observations)<\/p>\n<p>Changes were made for the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-year beta is widely used across the industry.<\/li>\n<li>2-year beta includes more\u00a0observations, therefore reducing estimation errors.<\/li>\n<li>2-year beta\u00a0reflects\u00a0fundamental changes of a\u00a0company more accurately and relevant to today&#8217;s price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This results\u00a0in a\u00a0small\u00a0adjustment to the\u00a0SP scores.
